There is added flavouring in it though, listed at the end, so the smell is not all the tea either.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt is sweet, and mildly flavoured. This is a biscuit that tastes of matcha, not a matcha sweet.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEat it cold if you can. This flavour is new, Sanritsu started making it in February 2026, and an older version called 抹茶チョコ is still on shelves in Japan under a different barcode, so reviews you find online may not be of this one.
