$10.67 per 100 gA hollow little biscuit shaped like a koala, pink all the way through, with a sweet strawberry filling sealed inside. The strawberry taste comes from strawberry powder and flavouring, with no juice or fruit pieces, in a sweet filling made with milk powder. Buy it if you like sweet strawberry snacks; if you want a fresh-fruit taste, this is the wrong biscuit.
This is the 46g box, made in Japan.

The maker
Koala's March has been made since March 1984, and from the start each little biscuit carried a printed koala. There were twelve designs then. There are five hundred now.
What happened in between was not planned. Around 1988 shoppers began giving names to the koalas they thought were rare: the eyebrow koala, with what looks like a brow, and the appendix koala, drawn with an injury. The names spread by word of mouth, and Lotte only gave them official ones in 2003.
