About

Tiny Japanese gummies moulded as Pokémon faces, in four soda flavours (lemon soda, cola, soda and grape soda), in an 80 g bag. They are springy, and the soda is a flavour, not a fizz. Buy it if you want small gummies to share with children; if you want a fizzy lolly, this is the wrong bag.

On the pack: ポケぷに ソーダ (poh-keh poo-nee soda). Puni is the Japanese sound for something soft and squishy.

What you're getting

  • Each piece weighs about a gram, much smaller than the gummies drawn on the front of the bag.
  • Go by colour, not face, to pick a flavour: the face does not tell you the flavour.
  • The faces include Pikachu, Gengar and Piplup, and not every face is in every bag.
  • The pieces are not wrapped: they sit loose in the bag.
  • Allergens: milk. Read the pack's own label before you rely on ours.
  • Also on the label: made on equipment that also handles soy, orange, kiwifruit, banana, peach and apple. The gummies are set with gelatine from an unstated animal, and the shine coating is not named, so it may be shellac, made from insects. Anyone who avoids animal products should skip it.

The bag on sale since September 2026 says 22 faces on the front and the one before it 20, with the same four flavours.

Dietary notes

The gummies are set with gelatine, an animal product, and the ingredient list does not say which animal it comes from. The glazing agent (the coating that gives sweets a shine) is not named, so it may be shellac, which comes from insects. The gelatine rules it out for vegetarians and vegans.
