About
A sweet Earl Grey tea powder you stir into milk for an Earl Grey milk tea latte with a bergamot smell, iced or hot. Buy it if you like your Earl Grey milky and sweet; if you want a caffeine-free or unsweetened drink, this is the wrong mix.
On the pack: アールグレイティーラテ (ahl grey tee rah-teh), with Earl Grey Tea Latte Mix in English below it. Older pouches of the same mix are named 紅茶ラテ (koh-cha rah-teh, black tea latte) instead, with the same English line.
What you're getting
- Three ingredients: beet sugar, black tea and a bergamot flavouring made from the oil of Italian bergamot, the citrus that gives Earl Grey its smell.
- There is no vanilla in it, so it makes a plain Earl Grey latte. A café London Fog is the same drink with vanilla added.
- There is no milk powder in it, and the pack carries a dairy-free badge. You add the milk, cow's, soy or oat.
- Sugar is the first ingredient, so it is sweet, and it contains black tea, so it has caffeine.
- 8 g makes a cup, so an 80 g pouch makes about ten, and it closes with a zip.
- Allergens: none declared. Read the pack's own label before you rely on ours.

Our guide
How to eat it
- For one cup of Earl Grey latte, put 8 g of powder, about two teaspoons, in a glass or mug.
- Pour in 100 to 120 mL of cold milk, about half a glass, and stir until no grains are left; it is ready to drink iced.
Good to know
- If you want it hot, warm the made-up cup in the microwave until it steams, then stir it again.
- If the drink stands, the powder sinks, so stir again before you finish it.
- If the Earl Grey tastes too strong, use a little less powder; make it as strong as you like.
- Close the zip after each use and keep the pouch away from strong smells, which the tea picks up.
