About
A sweet jasmine tea powder you stir into milk for a jasmine milk tea latte with a strong floral smell, iced or hot. Buy it if you like jasmine milk tea; if you want a caffeine-free or unsweetened drink, this is the wrong mix.
On the pack: ジャスミンティーラテ (jas-min tee rah-teh), with Jasmine Tea Latte Mix printed in English underneath.
What you're getting
- Two ingredients: beet sugar and jasmine tea of a high grade called gingo, scented with jasmine flowers six or more times.
- There is no milk powder or artificial sweetener in it, and the pack says no flavouring is added, so the smell is the tea's own. You add the milk, cow's or plant.
- Sugar is the first ingredient, so it is sweet, and it contains tea, so it has caffeine.
- Two teaspoons (8 g) make a cup, so an 80 g pouch makes about ten, and it closes with a zip.
- Allergens: none declared. Read the pack's own label before you rely on ours.
In cold milk it can be slow to dissolve: stir for longer, or warm it. The powder sinks if the drink stands, so stir again before you finish it.

Our guide
How to eat it
- For one cup of jasmine latte, put two teaspoons (8 g) of powder in a mug or glass.
- Pour in 100–120 mL of cold milk and stir well; it is ready to drink iced.
- For a hot latte, microwave the cup at 500 W for about a minute, then stir well again.
Good to know
- Any lump left at the bottom of the cup stirs back in, and you can add more or less powder to taste.
- Close the zip after each use and keep the pouch away from strong smells, which the tea picks up.
