About
Strawberry chocolate on a toasty wholemeal biscuit, twelve pieces to a box. It's sweet-tart. There's real strawberry powder worked through the chocolate and an acidity that cuts it, and the biscuit underneath is lightly salted. If the plain Alfort was a bit much for you, this is the one that fixes it.

What you're getting
- Taste: Sweet-tart strawberry over a toasty wholemeal biscuit. There are visible grains of strawberry powder through the pink chocolate and you can feel them as you eat.
- The biscuit is the tell: this one keeps the plain toasty wholemeal base, the same as the blue original, and that's what lets the strawberry stand out rather than compete. It's lightly salted too, which is the bit that stops a pink biscuit tasting like a children's one.

Alfort is made by Bourbon, whose home is Kashiwazaki in Niigata on Japan's north-west coast. The sailing ship stamped into every piece isn't a real one. Bourbon drew it themselves, and named the biscuit after the sense of adventure it gave them.
The strawberry is one of the range's standing flavours, and it keeps the plain wholemeal biscuit where Bourbon's other berry Minis are built on a cocoa one.
